What are recommended aeration solutions for use with Twister bins?

For flat-bottom bins, we recommend the Grain Guard aeration system, with aeration tubes and Grain Guard or Keho fans. See the Grain Guard website for more details.

For hopper-bottom bins we recommend the Grain Guard Rocket. See www.grainguard.com for more details.

How do I retrofit my existing Twister bins with aeration or bin sweeps?

Twister recommends a full-line of aeration products from Grain Guard and Keho, who make a full line of aeration products that can be retro-fitted to your existing Twister Bin. For some installations, extra stiffeners are required. See your Twister dealer for more information or call us at 1-800-565-2840.

What are the best practices for storing and drying grain?

Twister flat bottom bins and hopper bottom bins make great environments for drying your stored grain when coupled with an appropriate aeration and heated fan assembly. Grain Guard and Keho (www.edwardsgroup.ca) make several grain drying aeration systems that incorporate low-speed heated fans and in-bin aeration to promote grain drying in your Twister bin.
